YIN members pick up management skills

Young Inspirators Network (YIN) members from all over Maharashtra gathered at Sakal International Learning Centre (SILC) for a two-day management session in connection with implementation of various projects initiated under YIN.
Young Inspirators Network (YIN) is a voluntary alliance of young citizens striving for positive change within their individual, professional and societal spheres. It also utilises youth’s energy, social sense and innovative ideas for social reforms.
Experts from management field guided YIN members. Lectures on project management and conflict management were conducted on first day.
YIN members from Solapur, Kolhapur, Jalgaon, Jalna, Amravati, Nagpur, Nanded, Pune and Mumbai were present. The first day focused on various activities related to bonding of members and sessions on management skills.
At the inaugural session, Rupal Sancheti, head, YIN said, “Whatever projects you will be presenting are not be going to stay on paper, you all have to implement those projects. Experts from the industry will guide you in these two-day session, and that knowledge you will be able to implement in your respective projects.”
Various games were planned to create bonding and group building amongst members.
Later students presented their projects on traffic management, urban development and planning, river bank restoration, air pollution, women’s safety, water conservation, village safety and many more.
During the presentation, members asked questions on projects, which was a value addition for the other groups.
The day ended with fun and entertainment activities, bonfire and dinner.
