SHIVAJINAGAR:

A two-day national-level technical symposium, Innovision-15, on the theme of ‘Clean India Green India’ has been organised by the Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering (RSCOE) to provide a platform to students from across the country to interact with each other and showcase their ideas and innovations. The event begins on February 20
Sakal Media Group’s Young Inspirators Network (YIN) is the Youth Activity Partner for the event.

Last year, this event provided a platform for active interaction of more than 3,000 students to bring innovative ideas in various fields of engineering and management.

This year, over 4,000 students from various parts of the country are expected to participate in the event and compete in more than 45 technical and non-technical competitions organised as a part of the event.

The major attraction of the event are the many robotics-related competitions like Robo-Race, Line-Follower, IC engine racing, Robo-pac, Robo-League and Manual robotics.

Non-technical events including computer gaming events, Network Treasure hunt, Best out of waste, Fun2sh, G-Maze, Bioscope, Just A Minute, Lathe-wars, Mantle Dis-Mantle, Conc-Cubeto, Tender filling, Designing of Dream Town, Electra-Quest, Tech-Spark, Snap-Trick, Mini SSB, Face Painting, Street Play, Model Making, Paper presentation event and aptitude cracker are expected to draw students from all fields of education.

The theme for this year ‘Clean India Green India’ has been selected to enable the young generation, which is a major part of our society, to act as a tool to bring about a behavioural change in people for healthy sanitation practices.

Several special events like Movie Making, Poster presentation, PPT presentation and many other such events have been arranged around the theme.

The students taking part in the two-day national level technical symposium ‘Innovision-15’ are also expected to suggest solutions for healthy sanitation practices.
