Shree Shivaji Art and Commerce College, Amravati undertakes cleanliness campaign

CHALLENGE
College students don’t maintain #sanitation at college and this often creates various health issues for the students. College and educational institutes should have a clean environment and as a responsibility, students should maintain it.

#Cleanenvironment helps create a favourable environment for students and makes learning better. But considering the current situation ShreeShivajiArt andCommerceCollege, Amravati, there is need for a healthy and clean environment. The college is facing various cleanliness issues. Considering this, students from the college have decided to carry out the #Massivecleanlinesscampaign

ACTION PLAN
Action plan of students not only talks about proper garbage disposal but also deals with cleanliness in various aspects. The students will ensure #cleanfood, #healthyenvironment, #cleandrinkingwater and will also create awareness among students. These students will be providing a #cleancampus and also an #ecofriendlycampus. Students will promote no-vehicle days, impose ban on plastic bags, introduce reuse and recycling of various materials from the campus. Tree plantation will also be conducted on a large scale.
