Do what you feel is good: Aamir Khan YIN launch event
MUMBAI: India is ready for a change and youth are going to be involved in a big way, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan said as the Young Inspirators Network (YIN) of the Delivering Change Foundation (DCF) was launched on Tuesday.
“India is poised for a change,” Mr Perfectionist of Hindi film industry said during an interactive session while sharing stage with Abhijit Pawar, Founder and Chairman of DCF. “Change is possible and change is happening,” he said. “This is exactly what we are doing, we are involving youth in the process of delivering change,” Pawar said.
Khan also said that the youth of today needs to believe in themselves and feel what they feel right. “I did what I feel like….I lived on my terms….I am happy about it. And I have never compromised,” he said amidst thunderous applause.
“If I go wrong, I want to go wrong on my mistakes but not on other’s advice,” he said, adding: “My failures have taught me the most…you have to learn through failures.”
