Arihant Institute Students Make Wishes Come True
Challenge
Many people especially children suffering from fatal diseases are terminally ill. Unfortunately, they are going to miss having fun in their childhood. But students from the Bavdhan-based Arihant Group of Institutes have decided to spread some joy in their life and make their remaining life happy.
Action plan
Healthy people enjoy a lot but the children who are suffering from fatal diseases or diseases which cannot be cured and are undergoing treatment at hospitals have very little to cheer about.
Students of Arihant Group of Institutes have decided to give happy moments to such students through various activities. To achieve this, the students are visiting various hospitals in the city and meeting such children and are spending quality time with them.
As much as they can, these students are trying to fulfill the wishes of the children. They are also carrying out different activities like sports, magic shows, entertainment programmers among others.

“Along with studies, students should also realize their duty towards society. It is also important that students carry this sentiment forward and do such things in their future too. This will help sensitize them to the issues facing society. There are many people who cannot fulfill the wishes of their terminally ill children due to their poor financial conditions. Here students from Arihant Group of Institutes will help children who are hospitalized. Our students will try to help the children and families financially as well.”

“We are surrounded by people who are living in pain but we do not pay attention to such people. It is our responsibility as citizens to give these people some happy moments. So we have decided to take this initiative as a part of YIN. We are trying to bring happiness to terminally ill children, special children and their families. We will also spread awareness about this so that others get inspired to do the same.”Preeti Noyal, BEd
“After starting this initiative we realized that there is a different joy in bringing happiness to such children. Some children wanted bicycles, some mobile phones and some wanted toys. Seeing the happy faces of these children and their parents after fulfillment of their wishes is a sight to behold. When we go ahead to become teachers we will tell our students about the joy such activities bring. By this they will also get inspired to bring happiness to other children in pain.”
